Geeta and David planned a modern/traditional take on an Indian wedding. They had a shabby chic inspired wedding at Brooklyn’s reBar on a Saturday and then a traditional Indian ceremony and party the next day in New Jersey. To fit with the eclectic and old/new feel of the reBar, I used a tilt shift lens to create a soft nostalgic feeling for some of the images, especially the portraits.

Geeta’s choice to have her hair and makeup done at the reBar gave the couple plenty of time for portraits before the ceremony. It was fun photographing them both days to document two very different types of ceremonies.
