It was just over a year ago that Claudia Hanlin of The Wedding Library and I collaborated on an inspiration shoot at Glenmere Mansion, but with the holidays it seemed like the perfect time to post the photos. Once a Gilded Age retreat of the Goelet family, the Glenmere Mansion is now a luxury hotel surrounded by lush meadows and formal gardens. Needless to say, it was the perfect setting for a bridal shoot that focused on traditional elements with playful accents. The gowns were provided by Gabriella New York Bridal Salon, the hair was by Butterfly Studio Salon, Taste by Spellbound created the beautiful cake pop tower, and the accessories and bouquets were from The Wedding Library. For anyone looking for a gorgeous setting for a wedding with a Downton Abbey feel, I recommend the Glenmere Mansion. I guarantee your photos will look amazing. There were three different looks for the shoot so I broke them into two posts. Check back for part 2 – a woodland meets Wuthering Heights theme.
