Mara and Jon had their wedding at Guastavino’s which is a relatively new venue located under the 59th St. Bridge. Despite having a 250 person wedding, the couple was laid back and relaxed. I got to the venue earlier to scout locations for the couple portraits and was excited to find the bright red wall nearby. The contrast of  Mara’s white dress and her beautiful blue eyes against the red wall is stunning. Their wedding had so many great moments that I couldn’t narrow down the images for one blog post. So, abandoning the principal of less is more, I’m doing two posts. Check out part 2.  I also have to give a shout out to my second photographer who did an excellent job. Thanks David!
