Photographing a wedding at Oheka Castle is like a visit to a fairytale land. During the Gilded Age of the 1920s, Otto Hermann Kahn used the 109,000-square-foot, 127-room estate as a summer home where he hosted lavish parties and regularly entertained royalty, heads of state, and Hollywood stars. When Jenny and Mike asked me to photograph their wedding I was excited to return to this beautiful location. The magnificent surroundings were a perfect setting for their elegant affair. The joy and warmth towards Jenny and Mike that friends and family showed was touching to experience and photograph.
