Sometimes portraits are found. They present themselves without being preconceived. Such was the case with the image below. This was shot at the end of a Bar Mitzvah last weekend. When I saw this guest sitting alone, electronic bunny ears aglow, I stopped and asked to take her photo. Portraiture is a two way street. The input of the person being photographed counts as much as the photographer’s. In the mist of of the blaring Mitzvah music she struck this serine pose that transcended the moment.
