At last it is legal for same-sex marriages in New York State. When I saw this photo collage on the New York Times web site of newly-wed same-sex couples I was moved. These rejoicing faces of humanity made me wonder how they could have ever been excluded for being gay or lesbian. What a wonderful moment in time. Congratulations to all same-sex couples tying the knot in New York!
